PERKY THE DRUM MACHINE

i built the wood case w/ some oak and stained it - made some panels (got 2!)
from left to right
power supply (15v +/g/- 2amp)
thomas henry's ADV-SNARE on front panel express panel
ken stone's CYNARE on bridechamber panel (uses a zener diode for noise, tuned oscs for cymball)
ken stone's CYNARE on bridechamber panel (uses transistor noise, tuned oscs for cowbelly )
thomas henry's ADV-BASS (minus a few knobs) using home made panel on perf
clone of the CORON DS8 drum from bareille's schematics on home made panel/perf
dual ken stone CHIME simulator on homemade panel

heres two mp3s perky.mp3 perky2.mp3

i got some motion sensors from BG Micro - and i was making alot of drums at the time - so i made an electronic hand shaker
drum - thing. the guts? its pretty much the coron ds7 drum clone (see http://m.bareille.free.fr/ds7clone/ds7.htm)
but i used motion sensors to - trigger the drum, upside down turns the LFO on, and to the side kind of messes with the lfo speed - its pretty annoying i like it - oh and it has a 1 watt amp built in

Roland TR-606

changed out all LEDs w/ ultrabrights and added some of the
same mods used on confused machines. new mods include tom pitch
change, cymball decay, HIHAT/DECAY PITCH controll (via three controls),
tom decay - www.myspace.com/tbtr for demos

DYNABEAT

has button triggers for each sound - or you one of the 8 INPUT triggers i added to sequence
this unit externally i belive this is the oldest drum machine i have seen/used. also added a switch to shorten the decay of the hihat

Roland DRUMATIX TR606 w/ External Mod Box

following the schematics, plutonique9 and confused machines infos i added:

kick: pitch, decay/sustain, tone, modulation depth(germanium triggered eneleope), mod on/off switch
snare: pitch, decay/sustain, tone, noise level(this also effects the toms and is excellent),
low tom: switch to lower it similiar to cr78 kick - high tom - switch to lower it to 909 type kick
hihats - tone control, OH decay, CH decay - Cymball Tone control, switch to shorten decay
also added on the back 7 1/8" outputs for the accent timing pulse, kick, snare, toms, cymbal, hihats and pure noiseout
mp3 with 202 - mp3 through tube gear?

505 - Dual Speed/Pitch Controls / Hammond Auto-R

added two external oscillators ( two 555 chips) to override the sample rom's clock speed - beutiful pitch sweeps can be done - also added 6 1/8" jack outs that can trigger external drum sounds.

My good friend bruce momich gave me this nice hammond drum machine. I have added 8 input
triggers for IN or OUT triggering. the unit is one giant logic fest. i can feed trigger outs from the 505 or any other synth into it - or by selecting the rhytms can trigger external s ynths with its PRESETS

click here for an mp3 of the 505 and hammond jamming together - heres the 505 w/ knob turns

KID 707

this is the first DRUM MACHINE to both DRUM AND SING BLACK METAL VOCALS
at the same time - dont belive me? check out this mp3 - i built this unit for my friends chris rolls
and chris cones (of earwicker/content provider/flange du mal/notbreathing)

Yamaha dd6

i did this sucker a long time ago - i have since gutted it for parts
but here IS AN MP3 OF IT BEING A JACK ASS - also a picture of a similiar one that i did for... someone?

yamaha rx7

circuit bent modular patch bay - plugging cords in finds differnt ring modulation glitches
for my bandmate brian herman

THE LAND OF THE RANDOM 505 MOD JOBS!

external mod box allows lots of switches and some pots
heres an mp3 of this jerk face

band mate karl white's 505 w/ some switches on it
