One day a good friend asked me to make him a wishing machine.

I was familiar with the term from Burrough's Western Lands novel. He then got me the book Mind Machines you Can Build by G Harry Stine. The book covers differnt concepts from simple pendulums to the Hieronymous Machine. His schematic for the wishing machine was a baisc transistor audio amp. I decided to use 386 opamps and fabricated two x200 amplifers w/ gain controls. the origonal amp was x10. An article of clothing, photo, tissue, etc... is placed between the copper plates - you make your wish - then you let the machine transmit that wish through the antennae. does it work? would x400 ampliflying clip and distort the signal? these are indeed questions.
